Colt Model 1851 Navy Percussion Revolver, #103483, .36 cal., 7.5'' octagon barrel, blue and case hardened finish, one-piece varnished walnut grips, brass front and fixed ''V''-notch rear sight. Serial numbers are matching, including the barrel wedge. Mfg'd 1861. Revolver is in overall good condition, displaying an even gray patina to the metal, with spots of moderate darkening and mild pitting to sides of the frame. Grips are very good, showing moderate handling wear, especially to the bottom left grip panel; both sides show shrinkage from age. Right side with two ''kill'' notches along the back edge. Factory markings are clear, except for the cylinder scene which has mostly worn away. Action is crisp but a little weak. Bore rates fair+ with visible rifling and scattered moderate erosion.
