For the fifth year in a row, Travis Jenson and Utah WSF has again awarded this fantastic permit for our 2026 auction. If you are looking for a California Bighorn, this is it! 2026 Box Elder/Newfoundland Mountain (Early Season) California Rocky Mountain Bighorn sheep permit. Season dates are approximately October 4-October 24, 2026. This permit is being provided by the Utah DWR and Utah WSF in partnership with Iowa FNAWS. Proceeds from the sale of this permit are guaranteed to be used for Bighorn Sheep conservation projects in Utah.
