Lot 38 NEW MEXICO – 5 DAY GUN/6 DAY BOW ELK HUNT FOR 1 HUNTER
One hunter will head to southwest New Mexico for a 5-day gun or 6-day bow hunt for a 1x1 guided Rocky Mountain Elk hunt with Mangas Outfitters.
Method of take can be rifle, muzzleloader (open sights) or bow. Schedule this hunt for available dates in September-December 2026, 2027 or 2028. Mangas Outfitters has been in operation for over 20 years. Located in the high desert mountains of SW New Mexico, their area is well known for some of the best trophy elk bulls in the USA. Owner Tuffy Barnett was raised on a ranch in the area, and over the years he has proved hinting opportunities for some well-known names in the hunt industry.
INCLUDED: 1x1 guide service with a hunting vehicle, recovery, field prep, skinning of your elk trophy, meals, and lodging in a modern house. Additional hunters welcome at $6500 each and non-hunters welcome at $900 each.
NOT INCLUDED: are before/after hunt expenses, taxidermy, meat processing, license ($1000), trophy shipping, gratuities, and transportation to Datil, New Mexico.
Tag can be drawn (apply by March 18th for units 13, 15, 16D or 16E), or this hunt can be upgraded to a landowner tag for $7000 - $12,000. You can fly into Albuquerque and rent a car to drive to Datil or you can drive cross-country directly to Datil.
