Whether you’re an experienced fly-fishing enthusiast looking for a new challenge in a remote locale or a relative newcomer looking for an outdoor adventure, Papa Bear Adventures offers some of the finest fishing and outdoor adventures in Alaska. This trip is for 3 anglers on the Kwethluk or Kisaralik river. This is a remote DIY rafting trip. Anglers will be able to target Sockeye, pink, chum salmon, rainbow trout, grayling, arctic char and Dolly Varden.
Included are a chartered Beaver plane flight into your drop lake (1,200 pounds capacity), lodging in the Papa Bear Lodge the night before or after the float trip, transportation from the Bethel airport to and from the Papa Bear lodge. Importantly Papa Bear includes a current river description, fishing primer, packing lists, river etiquette review and information to ship supplies, food, and alcohol for your trip. Necessary gear is available for rental, (rafts, tents, cots, stove etc.) or you can ship your own gear up to Papa Bear, or a mix of both.
Not Included: Transportation to and from Bethel, AK, jet boat back to Bethel at end of trip ($360/pp), food on float and at the lodge, fishing licenses, personal gear. Arrange with Papa Bear Outfitters for summer of 2027.
