Lot 116 South Africa Plains Game Hunt - Jannie Otto Safaris
This exclusive six-day plains game safari in South Africa is offered for two hunters. Hunters will have the opportunity to pursue six species, shared between the two hunters:
One (1) warthog, one (1) common blesbuck, two (2) common springbuck, one (1) zebra, and one (1) black OR blue wildebeest.
The safari takes place on a private hunting concession spanning 100,000 acres, providing free-range hunting across a variety of landscapes and habitats. Accommodation is provided at a luxury hunting lodge equipped with Wi-Fi, spacious rooms and bathrooms, daily laundry and exceptional cuisine. Hunters benefit from the expertise of experienced trackers, skinners, and a licensed professional hunter.
The hunt may be conducted using rifle, handgun, or bow. Arrival and departure points are Bloemfontein airport (if renting firearms) or Kimberley airport (if bringing personal firearms). Upgrades are available for additional hunters ($650 per day), non-hunters ($275 per person per day), buffalo exceeding 38”, and additional game as specified in the 2026 Trophy List.
Please confirm booking dates with the outfitter for seasons ending November 30, 2027. Note: Donated safaris with Jannie Otto Safaris may not be scheduled concurrently with other donations. Standard Jannie Otto Safaris Terms of Business apply.
Not Included:
• Additional hunter and observer fees.
• Firearm clearance at certain airports @ $35 per firearm each way. This is not a JOS charge.
• Liquor, beer, wine and mixes at cost price plus 10%.
• Additional vehicles for larger groups.
• 15% Value Added Government Tax (VAT) on value of package ($13,450 x 15%=$2,017).
• Hunting licenses in certain provinces @ $60 each.
• Rifle hire @ $50 per rifle per day, ammo at cost.
• Additional trophies as per 2026/2027 price list.
• Flights and/or hotel accommodation before, during and after safari.
• Taxidermy and shipping.
• Transfer fee from nearest airport to hunting concession and return, $500 per vehicle (max 4 people)
