The 18-hole championship public course in historic Pella, Iowa - Bos Landen, was designed by well-known architect Dick Phelps. Each hole features 5 sets of tees for players of all skill levels, ranging from 5,100 to 7,000 yards in length. Bos Landen, located just 40 miles outside of Des Moines, comes from the Dutch language meaning “Land of the Woods”. The name speaks for itself. Our beautiful course sits on 190 heavily wooded acres and features a wide variety of shot making holes.
Alex Olsen was awarded the ‘2024 18-Hole Iowa Superintendent of the Year’ by Golf Course Superintendents Association of America.
