Exhibitor Willie Botha of Legadema Hunting Safaris is donating a true classical 10-day Cape buffalo safari for one hunter, which includes the trophy fee for one buffalo in our exclusive Musengezi hunting concession in the Tete province of Mozambique.
Every hunter that hunts a buffalo can also add a crocodile for $4,500 trophy fee (13- 16 foot croc). The winning bidder can bring up to 1-2 additional buffalo hunters at the discounted price of $9,000 per hunter, day fees and trophy fee for cape buffalo included.
This is as close as you can get to the Old Way of African hunting. It is a tented camp on the banks of the Furumwe River and each unit has a shower, handbasin and ablution with hot and cold water.
The Musengezi Concession is one of the few areas left in Africa where you have the opportunity of a true classical big five safari combined with a variety of plains game and fishing if time permits. This area offers diverse hunting grounds including vast grasslands, flood plains, palm savannahs and thick forest. The concession is roughly 250,000 acres unfenced hunting area surrounded by more than 5 million acres of unfenced wild area. The northern border is the mighty Zambezi River, southern border is Zimbabwe. Here you will find here some of the largest crocodiles in the world and a good number of elephants, buffalo, hippos, lion, leopard, and plains game.
Donation includes: Trophy fees for one Cape Buffalo, roundtrip transportation to the Tete Airport, Government tag fees, community fees, accommodations, field transportation,field prep of trophies, 1x1 PH and staff services, meals, laundry, tiger fishing and a free visit to local school/village if time permits.
NOT included: international/domestic airfares, hotel (if required) $100 per night, rifle import license $300, or firearms rental $30 per day, hunt permit $300, additional trophy fees, dip-n-ship and gratuities. Additional days cost $500 per day, Non-Hunters $150 per day, other game as per the price list.

Online auction bid winners who are not registered to attend the MN SCI Expo Banquet event in person will be charged $75 plus 6% buyer’s premium.
