Here is a 5-day/5-night, Sitka Black-tailed deer and Sea Duck combo hunt for three hunters on Kodiak Island. Hunt Kodiak's pristine wilderness for Sitka Black-tailed deer and trophy sea ducks for an exciting wing shooting and hunting adventure. They have an extremely high success rate for sending clients home with a nice trophy buck and a wide variety of trophy sea ducks. Method of take is hunter's choice for deer hunts and bring your shotgun and shells for sea duck hunting.

DATES: Schedule hunt with outfitter for open dates from October - December, 2026 or 2027
Deer season is August 1 - December 31. Deer limit: 1 deer.
Kodiak waterfowl season is October 8 - January 22.
Duck limit: 7 per day, 21 in possession; Sea Duck limit for Nonresidents: 7 per day, 20 per season.


AMENITIES INCLUDED: Hunt includes: experienced Hunting Guide for ducks, accommodations (warm comfortable), hearty homestyle cooked meals and beverages, in-field transportation (Orca and Klamath boats), duck decoy lines, layout boats, VHF/marine radio, bird prep/cleaning, and airport pick-up and drop-off.

AMENITIES NOT INCLUDED: before and after hunt expenses, commercial airfare, hotel, air charter passenger seat to and from camp (approximately $400 RT each hunter), Alaska nonresident small game license ($60), Federal Migratory Bird Hunting and Conservation stamp ($25), Alaska Waterfowl stamp ($10), Alaska nonresident hunting license ($160), deer tags ($300 each), (processing/shipment of trophy/game meat, taxidermy trophy services, shotgun shells, and gratuity.

SPECIAL NOTES: The trophy Black-tailed deer during prime rut is semi-guided and the trophy sea duck hunt usually has non-stop action on the Kodiak Island wintering grounds. Sea duck hunting on Kodiak Island is primarily done over decoys from shore or floating blinds, and jump-shooting birds. Our sea duck guests are typically treated to opportunities for Harlequin, Old Squaw (Long-tailed duck), Mergansers (Common and Red Breasted), Scoters (Common, Surf and White-Winged), King and Common Eider. Alaska offers 22 duck species and four goose species.
