African Hook & Barrel Safari 2026/27 10-Day Safari for 2 Hunters (2x1) & 2 Observers – Plains Game

Safari and donation overview:
This exclusive safari combines a traditional East African–style tented camp with luxury farm accommodation. Guests will enjoy modern amenities (Wi-Fi, 220v electricity, mobile coverage, safari vehicles), chef-prepared meals, and the warm hospitality of Phillip Bronkhorst and his team. The 2-tier safari begins and ends at OR Tambo International Airport, travels to the Free State grass plains and finally the Limpopo bushveld. Activities include trophy hunting, seasonal bird hunting, and fishing in the Palala River.
Package Inclusions are 7 full hunting days for 2 hunters on a 2x1 basis upgradeable to 1x1. Trophy Credit of $ 2250 per hunter. Three (3) non-hunting days for the 2 hunters each which could be upgraded to hunting days. Ten (10) observer days for 2 non-hunters. Spa treatment for each observer. River cruise for all four participants. All normal Safari services: Field preparation of trophies (skinning, salting, recovery). Delivery of trophies to Taxidermist. Full camp staff services. Daily laundry. Accommodation & Dining in a luxury Safari Tented Camp & luxury game farm lodge. African cuisine with premium local wines (alcohol & soft drinks excluded).
Exclusions and Additional Costs are international airfare and internal charters. Temporary Rifle import permits (assistance available). Arrival & departure day fees: $250 per person per day. Road transfers at $750 per vehicle (max 4 passengers). Area change fees if requested. Alcohol, wine, bottled water, soft drinks. Anti-poaching levy: $50 per hunter per day. Deposit of $1,000 per hunter (non-refundable, credited to safari account).
Terms & Conditions. Two-couple rule: Safari must be taken by two separate couples (not one family of four). Back-to-back restriction: Hunt donations may not be combined with each other. Sundays are rest days at observer rates; no hunting conducted. Standard T&C on the Bronkhorst Safaris pricelist and full Terms of Business apply.
Upgrade Options are available and appreciated. Additional hunters: $495 pppd (1x1) / $395 pppd (2x1). Additional observers: $250 pppd. Side trips & extensions to the Kruger National Park, Sun City, Cape Town, Victoria Falls and Chobe, as well as the Mozambique coast for a beach & fishing side trip.
