Jannie Otto Safaris offers a five-day South African Cape Buffalo safari for one hunter and one non-hunter. This safari takes place on a private 100,000-acre concession that permits free-range hunting of a mature buffalo bull (up to 38” trophy size). The package includes accommodations at our luxury hunting lodge featuring Wi-Fi, spacious bedrooms, and fully equipped bathrooms, as well as meals, hunting vehicles, and the services of professional hunters with dangerous game licenses, trackers, and skinners. Additional hunters can join for $650 per person per day, and non-hunters for $275 per person per day. The hunt can be upgraded to include other species or additional buffalo according to the current price list. Both rifle and bow hunting are permitted.
Included JOS Terms of Business apply
1. Accommodations, meals, soft drinks and day fees for 5 days for one hunter and one non-hunter.
2. Trophy fee for one Cape Buffalo with maximum size of 38”.
3. Full safari staff, including 1 PH’s with hunting vehicle, trackers, skinners and camp staff.
4. Field preparation of trophies i.e., skinning, salting, tagging and delivery to taxidermist.
Excluded JOS Terms of Business apply
1. Additional hunter and observer fees.
2. Firearm clearance at certain airports @ $35 per firearm each way. (This is not a JOS charge)
3. Liquor, beer, wine and mixes at cost price plus 10%.
4. Additional vehicles for larger groups.
5. Hunting licenses in certain provinces @ $60 each.
6. Rifle hire @ $50 per rifle per day, ammo at cost.
7. Additional trophies as per the price list of the year the hunt is taken.
8. Flights and/or hotel accommodation before, during and after safari.
9. Taxidermy and shipping.
10. Transfer fee from nearest airport to hunting concession and return, $500 per vehicle (max 4 people).
11. 15% Value Added Government Tax (VAT) on value of package ($2,590)
