COLORADO BULL ELK/BLACK BEAR ARCHERY HUNT
Western, Colorado:
5 Day Rocky Mountain Bull Elk and Black Bear Hunt for 1 hunter and 1 non-hunter.
One Bow hunter and one non-hunter will have 5 days and 1on 1 guide service to seek a Rocky Mountain Elk, and Black Bear on this Fair Chase Private property hunt. Guide by Jack Cassidy, schedule this for the September Elk Rut in 2026 or 2027.
This hunt donated by Jack Cassidy, will take place on the Rim of the Black Canyon of the Gunnison, in Western Colorado at the famous Packrat Camp.
This is a permit hunt and landowner preference will ensure Elk Tags, and private land only Bear Tags are available. Included are cabin accommodations, all meals, trophy fees for donated animals, and guide service including field care of animals.
September in Colorado is a great time to enjoy the woods in their fall colors and to harvest a quality, Elk. The Packrat Camp is located on the rim of the Black Canyon of Gunnison overlooking the famous Gunnison River Gorge.
Included:
• Trophy Fees for 1 Rocky Mountain Bull Elk and 1 Black Bear.
• Cabin accommodations along with all meals and non-alcoholic beverages at the “Packrat
Camp”.
• Guide service and field prep of trophies.
Hunt Dates: Archery Season in September, 2026 or 2027.
Trip Arrival and Departure Point: Montrose, Colorado.
Transportation During Hunt: Foot and vehicle.
Weapons: Bow.
Not Included:
• Hunting license, Elk Tag (approx. $850) and Bear Tag (approx. $300).
• Alcoholic beverages.
• Accommodations and travel before or after the hunt.
Additional hunters are welcome pending availability.
