Made in Belguim - Steel Receiver Model... Made between 1955 to 57
This firearm features a unique loading port on the left side of the receiver. As the first round is
loaded, the shell is lifted by a mechanism and chambered by the bolt; once the bolt is closed, the
lifting mechanism returns to the resting position below the loading port, where the next round can the
n be loaded.
Upon firing the chambered round, the shell in the loading port is automatically chambered. The total
capacity is two shells: one chambered round and one round in the loading port.
This Browning Double Automatic shotgun chambered in 12 Gauge. Produced at the Belguim FN Factory
the Double Auto came in both Steel and Aluminum frames, indicated by the A or C in the serial.
This model is the steel frame with serial C19 939 and therefore made between 1955 to 57.
Chambers: 2 3/4 inch shells only
Metal Condition: Very Good, there is some loss of bluing all over in an even age related pattern
Wood Condition: Very Good - may hav ebeen refinished - No cracks
Bore Condition: Very Good
Barrels: 25 inch with ribbed barrel.
