Introducing the Scarce J.C. Higgins Model 29 Semi-Automatic Rifle, a unique piece of firearms
history chambered in .22 LR.
These are absolutely superb rifles made by High Standard and sold by Sears-Roebuck under the
J.C. Higgins name.
These rifles were produced from 1954 to 1956, making them both collectible and historically
significant.

This particular example stands out in excellent condition, a testament to its preservation and care
over the years. Topped with a Bushnell 3-9 x 42 Scupe in Weaver rings. Not quite period correct but it will shoot well.
Has the original iron sights (minus the rear sight elevator wedge)

Overall condition is 8/10 - Wood does have a large 4 inch crack running from butt plate on left side.
Butt plate is original JC Higgens black hard rubber type.

Barrel is 24 inches long and Bore is good.
