Listed is a Hopkins & Allen falling block smooth bore rifle which is a Takedown
It is chambered in 32 RF and was made circa 1890 in USA.
Stock is in very good condition considering age.. with some minor wear from usage and light
scratches and dings. (see photos) Both Stocks have been refinished.
Bore is shiney and in good condition on the 24 inch barrel.
Barrel and receiver have case harding bluing left and barrel is at about 75% which is very good
considering age.
The barrel has a fixed blade dovetailed front sight and fixed rear adjustable V notch sight.
Has original steel butt plate.
Gun has been fired and comes with 2 antique shot shells.
Top of the barrel is marked The Hopkins & Allen Arms Co. Norwich Conn. U.S.A. - stamping is very clear.
