Egyptian/Sudan Contract British No.4 MK2 Lee Enfield bolt action rifle in .303 British.

Made in August 1953 - Has 8/53 stamped om receiver at the Fazakerly factory, for the Egyptian/
Sudanese government. Import marked on the barrel.

Matching serial numbers on the bolt and receiver.
25 inch barrel with original blade front sight and 1300 yard rear ladder sight.

Original black enamel finish and oiled wood stock, with original cast butt plate having a trapdoor for
cleaning tools (none inside).

Overall CONDITION is 8/10 ... : Metal is very good overall, with very light wear.
Wood has very light wear and handling marks. There is a crack on rear stock behind receiver on
right hand side (see pictures) Bore is bright, with strong rifling.

This is a great collectible rifle.. Comes with period correct canvas sling.
