Lee Enfield Sniper Rifle - 303 British No 4 Mk 1 Restored c/w Scope Mount.

There is a RESERVE of $2000 on this collectible Rifle.

This is a High Condition 1944 Enfield that was selected to be upgraded into a T pattern sniper rifle
with correct size and type of TR marking on the left side of receiver ring. These sniper rifles were
based on hand selected No. 4 rifles and saw service with Commonwealth forces during WWII and
into the 1960s.

In addition to the rifle's standard protected blade front sight and ladder rear there is a Scope mount.
This is in place for the standard Military side mounted type scope. Cast scope base is a high quality
manufacture.

The gun has Matched Bolt and Receiver numbers.

Walnut stock with cheek piece is in place and original.

CONDITION: Very Good. Metal retains the vast majority of its arsenal applied finishes with litte fading.
Stocks show very few small nicks and impressions throughout as is to be expected on military issue
arms. Good, strong grooves and bright bore.
Also comes with a nice period correct leather Military sling.

Overall I would give the condition a 9/10. This world make an excellent addition to any collection.
