Lot 42 New Mexico: 5 Day Elk/Bear Combination rifle hunt for 2 hunters.
Vince Vigil owner of New Mexico Hunting Adventures is offering a 5 Day combination elk and black bear hunt for 2 hunters in New Mexico Game management Units 51 or 52.
New Mexico Hunting Adventures offers elk and bear combination hunts with rifle, bow, or muzzle loader and hunts are available on both private and public land. These units have resident elk herds, so migration is not an issue, and, in most areas, hunters take bulls in the 250"-300" class. Hunting techniques vary from spot & stalk hunts, calling, and sitting over waterholes. Hunters who come prepared for a mountain hunt will generally have a 100% shot opportunity on rag horn-300+ class bull/some scoring even higher.
Based on location and timing, you and your guide will work out the best suited technique to ensure for your success, based on the location, and time of year.
Hunt Drawing Permits: Hunters will be applied in the state draw. Odds are moderately good in drawing a tag with outfitter endorsement. If unsuccessful in the draw hunters must purchase a landowner tag ranging from $6000.00 plus. Generally, 100% shooting opportunity on rag horn-300+ class bulls/some scoring much bigger. Contact Vincent for Landowner Permit location, price and availability.
Included: 5 Days of 2:1 guided hunting and field transportation.
Not Included: Food and Lodging, License fees (elk $1048, bear $380, general hunting license $90), Landowner Tags are NOT included, but must be purchased if tags are not drawn in lottery. (contact NMHA for Info), NMGR Tax and tips. Extra hunters can be added for $14,500.00 per hunter.
Dates: Schedule your hunt with the outfitter during October of 2026.
