^Lot 22 2027 NWTF JAKES Hunt of a Lifetime in Florida with God’s Country Outfitters and Hal Shaffer

God’s Country Outfitters located in San Mateo, Florida, will be hosting the annual JAKES Hunt of a Lifetime March 13 - 14, 2027. This hunt is for two youth during the youth weekend and two adult guests who will get to tag along with their youth hunter. Hal Shaffer of Drop Zone TV will be in camp to film the turkey hunts to air on a future episode on the Outdoor Channel. This hunt has been a long-standing tradition here at the NWTF. Two lucky JAKES members will be drawn from our national JAKES membership, plus this invite being auctioned here at the 2026 convention. Each hunter will also be equipped with a hunt package courtesy of some of Drop Zone’s amazing sponsors. God’s Country has two main goals: make sure the client has a wonderful time and for the hunters to have a successful Osceola turkey hunting experience. They have had a 100% success rate since the inception of this hunt six years ago and plan to continue that success this season! Their 25,500+ acres range from deep swamps to oak sand hills, to cow pastures and farm fields. They have all the different types of terrain that Osceola turkeys love. The guides spend quality time in the woods running trail cameras and scouting for big Osceola turkeys all year, so they can put you on a bird as fast as possible. It does not matter if you are a seasoned turkey hunter looking to fill your Grand Slam or a firsttime turkey hunter wanting to try something new; they are the place for you. On this hunt, the two youth hunters will also harvest one wild hog each. The hog hunt will take place prior to the youth spring turkey opener. NOTE: This hunt is restricted to the age of 15 and under at the date of the hunt. The hunter cannot turn 16 prior to March 11, 2027! You will arrive at the camp on March 11 and hunt hogs March 12. Also included if time allows is the opportunity to learn how to effectively and consistently shoot rifles at long range! The kids and their chaperon will get to shoot custom rifles out to 1,000 yards at a private shooting range. 2027 hunt dates include arriving in the afternoon of March 11 and leaving the morning of March 15.
