Lot 15 Custom-built 12-Gauge Flintlock Kentucky Shotgun

Own a piece of immaculate handcrafted precision straight out of the history books. This beautiful shotgun was handmade by Jesse Evans, a long-time contributor to the NWTF! Jesse has custom built and donated rifles for years to support conservation and our hunting heritage. Last year's Kentucky Long Rifle was the last one that Mr. Jesse Evans will ever make, however Jesse wanted to be able to continue his support. In honor of the NWTF's 50th Convention, he dug deep into his personal collection and found the very first Kentucky Flintlock 12-gauge shotgun that he ever made back in 1999. This shotgun features a 42-inch barrel and a beautiful curly maple stock that was hand hewn and finished by Mr. Evans. This is a very unique piece of Kentucky flintlock history that will never be reproduced and comes directly out of Mr. Evans' personal collection.
