^Lot 1 Wyoming Game and Fish Commissioner’s Special License

A gracious Wyoming Game and Fish commissioner has awarded the NWTF one of only eight licenses that each commissioner is authorized to distribute annually. The license allows for one antelope, or deer or elk, in any Hunt Area in Wyoming for the 2026 season. The Commissioner’s License is not valid in the Grand Teton National Park, which are Wyoming Elk units 75, 77 and 79. The recipient of the license may select both the species they want to pursue and the hunt region/area of their choice at the time of application.
NOTE: Once the Commissioner’s License is issued, the specified region/hunt area cannot be changed, and the license cannot be canceled, no fees refunded or transferred to another individual. If the license is purchased by an outfitter, it can be transferred to a client if they do not charge the client an amount for the license itself that is greater than what was paid for said license. For example, if the outfitter paid $20,000 for the license, they cannot charge the client more than that amount for the license.
