GUN. Cal. .4450 with 1/10 twist. NSN. Bbl. 27 1/2" octagon measuring 1 7/8" across flats. Muzzle is cut for a ball starter. Top flat has bases for a target scope. Left flat is marked "H. LLOYD RESOR / UNION CITY IND." followed by bore and twist markings. Underhammer action, main spring forms the trigger guard. Monte Carlo cheekpiece walnut stock with a Savage thin brown rifle pad. Forward portion of barrel is held by a 5" by 1 3/4" brass block with tapered sides with the builder's name and address. is also marked "RE-CUT 1982". UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: wooden box holding 17 paper-patched bullets along with brass seating dies and a small brass funnel. A small cardboard box contains 10 additional lead bullets. False muzzle, bullet starters, brass cleaning rod, a partial box of Hornady .416 caliber 400 grain round nose bullets and a box of Outer's No.4 patches are also included. CONDITION: barrel retains 80% of a browned finish. Functioning lock and trigger. Stock has a dark oiled appearance. Very good bright bore. Weight is approximately 26.5 lbs.
