PISTOL. Cal. 17. NSN. Bbl 5 1/2" oct with rifled bore. Top flat is marked "I. Adam Kuchenreuter Regensburg". Fine blade front sight with fixed v-notch rear sight. Bbl tips up from the metal forearm. Dragon head engraved hammer is center mounted in long top strap. Striker is mounted in a thick breech plate attached to the trigger guard tang and stock. Forearm, breech plate, top tang, trigger guard and buttcap have foliate scroll engraving. Set trigger. Fluted walnut stock, buttcap has wavy line carving. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: gun is housed in a shooter made box with green felt fitted interior. Box holds bullet mold, nipple wrench, loading rod, cleaning rod, spare nipple, round balls, oil bottle and partial box of percussion caps. CONDITION: metal has cleaned gray appearance showing spots of white pitting. Grip shows scattered handling marks. Sound lock and trigger. Bore retains strong rifling. (01-28011/DS).
