Cal. 58. NSN. Bbl 9" dbl taper oct of brass. Blade front sight. Left flat has Birmingham proofs. Unmarked lock. Pin fastened walnut stock with round buttcap. Engraved steel tang. Engraved brass long tang trigger guard with acorn finial. Wrist has a small oval silver nameplate. Hardwood ramrod held by a faceted thimble and single faceted pipe. CONDITION: metal parts have faded to gray showing light pitting. Brass parts show a light tarnish with scattered marks. Stock has worn finish showing numerous scratches and marks. Functioning lock.
