Lots includes nice original excavated 89x57mm medium sized Confederate wishbone buckle tagged "found at Quinton, VA", tongue appears to match but broken piece of loop that attaches to bar; iron snake buckle with tag stating Bill Gavin collection 1962; good dug US "puppy paw" belt buckle; "WH SMITH" backmarked dug cartridge box plate; 2 round eagle cartridge strap plates; repro CS oval buckle; and post CW rectangular eagle buckle. CONDITION: good to very good overall, several wire hooks missing as can be seen in photos. PROVENANCE: Estate Collection of John "Jack" Dhooghe. (02-25568/JS). NON-GUN. $1,000-1,500.
