Cal. 36. S# 13097. Bbl 4" oct with three line marking having Philadelphia address. Bead front sight. 5-shot rebated round cyl. Silver finished brass trigger guard and grip straps. 1-pc walnut grips. Estimated quantity of 15,000 mfg 1850s - 1864. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: wood case with red velour fitted interior. Case contains powder flask, 2-cavity mold, oil bottles, cap tin, round balls, pocket knife, tools and accessories, coin and case key. Lid of case contains a State of Georgia $100 bill and photocopy of a 4-page handwritten letter. CONDITION: iron parts have faded to gray with evidence of touch-up finish. Brass grip straps retain 70% silver finish. Grips show wear and handling marks with small chips at toe. Sound action. Bore retains strong rifling showing spots of light pitting. (01-28517/DS).
