Cal. 44. S# 1535. Standard configuration, 7.5" octagonal barrel, solid frame, slotted top strap stamped: "ROGERS & SPENCER / UTICA, NY". Sharply flared grips at butt, inspector cartouched on left. CONDITION: very good to fine overall, revolver retains about 40-50% bright thinning original blue on barrel & frame, cylinder is gray with traces of blue, crisp markings. Grips have tacking on butt, heavy edge wear, large chip on left side removing portion of crisp inspection cartouche. Mechanics are fine, bright shiny rifled bore.
