Late model having a spring loaded catch for the trigger guard/loading lever mounted on rear of the trigger guard. 2-pc walnut grips. Front grip strap has a hand inscribed number that appears to an owner's social security number. Approx 750 mfg 1858-1861. CONDITION: metal has a dark brown patina appearance. Cyl retains visible scene. Grips show heavy wear with chips at butt. Functioning action. Lightly pitted bore retains intact rifling. (01-28511/DS). $1,000-1,500.
