This was the most popular DA martial revolver of the Civil War, this is an excellent example in standard configuration, 6" round barrel, frame stamped "STARRS PATENT JAN. 15 1856" & "STARR ARMS CO. NEW YORK" on either side. 1-piece grips inspection cartouched on both sides. CONDITION: very fine overall. All matching. Metal retains over 90% original blue finish. Grips have crisp cartouches.
