Cal. .44. S# 30845. Standard configuration of 1863 Civil War cavalry issued revolver, 8" octagonal barrel with early 2-line address, cartouched grip, sub inspection initials on most every part. These early 1863 made revolvers without the New Model markings are difficult to find in higher condition with finish. CONDITION: very good to fine, about 50% blue on barrel & loading arm, balance of revolver gray patina, good markings, grips well fit with moderate to heavy edge wear, mechanics fine, good rifle bore.
