Standard configuration, 8" barrel, 1-line New York address, nickel, ejector mounted on right side, 6-shot rebated cylinder with naval battle scene, conversion ring, loading gate with external spring, 2-line patent with dashes on left side of frame, varnished walnut grips. Manufactured mid 1870s simultaneous with first single actions. These are the first of cowboy era revolvers. CONDITION: fine overall, retaining about 90% original factory nickel, good marking, fine mechanics, crisp shiny bore. (01-28165/JS). ANTIQUE. $5,000-7,000.
