Cal. 31. S# 8106. Bbl 4" oct with London address and steel bead. Left bbl flat and cyl have British proofs. 5-shot round cyl with stagecoach scene roll engraving. Frame, bbl, grip straps, cyl, loading lever and wedge have matching numbers. 1-pc walnut grip. Mfg. 1855. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: wood case with red velour interior. Inside of case lid has Colt label with London address. Case contains powder flask, two cavity bullet mold, nipple wrench, cap tin along with a few bullets and round balls. Case interior shows fading and wear. CONDITION: metal has faded to gray. Cyl retains 50% lightly visible scene. Grips have lightly worn finish showing scratches and marks with small chips at toe and heel. Some action screws are replacement. Sound action. Bore retains sound rifling showing small spots of very light pitting. (01-28513/DS). ANTIQUE. $1,500-2,000.
