Brass trigger guard and backstrap hold varnished walnut grips. Roger's card states purchased from Harold Herglotz and gun was picked up on battlefield and returned to his home in Demopolis where it remained. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: hand drawn colored collection card by Roger Ballard, his first gun #1, bought in 1980s. CONDITION: good overall, all matching and complete, heavily pitted, address is still mostly discernibleMechanically fine, good rifled bore, grips retain traces of their original factory varnish, hand worn patina.
