Cal. 25-35. S# 124812. Bbl. 20" round rapid taper. Replacement blade front sight & missing bead on integral base w/ elevator adjustable sporting rear sight. Action features brass rotary mag., left side shell counter, cocking indicator & bent tab safety. Blue finished w/ case colored lever. Schnable tipped forearm & straight grip walnut stock w/ curved lower line & checkered hard rubber buttplate. Mfg. 1912. CONDITION: 60% dull fading blue showing carry & edge wear w/ spots of corrosion & scratches. Wood has added finish over wear w/ scattered scratches, dents & marks. Buttplate has a small chip at toe. Bore has a slightly darkened appearance w/ worn rifling. PROVENANCE: Estate of Russell Dickerman. (25-1983/DS). CURIO. $1,000-1,500.
