Standard configuration 36" barrel, Buffington long range rear sight. Trap door breech marked "U.S. / MODEL / 1884". Lock with eagle & "US / SPRINGFIELD". CONDITION: excellent overall, rifle retains 95%+ blue and case colored finish. Stock is sound with raised grain & crisp 1889 dated inspection cartouche. Mechanically crisp, bright shiny rifled bore.
