Cal. 50. S# 91677. Standard configuration of rifle made 1865-1867. 30" 6-land & groove rifled barrel stamped "M 1865", 4 line address "SPENCER REPEATING / RIFLE CO. BOSTON / PAT'D MARCH 6 1860" stamped on breech. This is a very fine survivor retaining most of its original finish and shows little if any use. CONDITION: excellent overall, barrel retains 95%+ thinning blue finish, frame & breech retain good muted case colors, stocks are excellent with few cosmetic dents & scratches, mechanics are crisp, sharp shiny rifled bore.
