Cal. 30. S# 5 (Under left grip panel).Bbl. 6" oct. Blade front sight mid way on bbl. Cylinder has roll engraving that reads "The Young Lion Model 1881 New Pattern" Folding trigger. Rear of cyl. has circled "E/LG" Liege proof. Balance of metal has nickel finish with hammer & trigger having gold wash finish. Carved Gutta Percha Grips with "Lion Head & Woman Head". UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: modern softcase. CONDITION: left of rear grip panel shows a splice repair, grips otherwise show some dings & handling marks. Hammer & trigger retain most of their gold wash with some light flaking, operational wear & oxidation. Balance of metal retains 92% nickel with scattered oxidation, dings, light flaking & handling marks. Hammer will not stay at full cock but DA functions properly when hand cycled.
