Walnut forend & straight grip stock with crescent steel trap door buttplate. Estimated quantity of 15,000, mfg. 1879-1886. CONDITON: metal has faded to brown with a heavy added coating of stock finish. The wood shows heavy wear and marks with a heavy coating of added finish. Sound action.
