^Lot 3441 MASS ARMS MAYNARD IMPROVED 1882 TARGET TIP-UP

RIFLE. Cal. .36 (appears to be 35-30 Maynard). S# 11968. This appears to be a No. 10 Improved Mid-Range target rifle w/ half oct., half rnd. 30" barrel. Beech combination front sight, open rear sight, tang peep sight. Improved 1882 Maynard action. Walnut straight grip buttstock w/ brass target buttplate. CONDITION: barrel has gray/brown patina appearance with scattered light marks & peppery oxidation. Faint traces of case colors on action w/ brown patina throughout. Fair wood finish with light scratches & marks; 1 buttplate screw is missing. Fair worn rifling with light pitting forward of pitting. PROVENANCE: Estate of Groves Herrick. (01-28351/MD).
