SINGLE SHOT RIFLE. Cal. 35-30 Maynard & 22RF. S# 25602. Bbl 1 is 35-30, oct to round measuring 28". Bbl 2 is 22RF, round w/ oct shank measuring 26". Both bbls have Windgauge front with fixed v-notch rear sights. Both have schnable tip forearms of fancy checkered walnut. Improved No. 16 Target rifle with case colored action having Hadley's patent device for rimfire cartridges. Vernier tang sight, pistol grip stock of checkered fancy walnut with nickel finished brass Schutzen buttplate. CONDITION: both bbls retain over 75% lightly worn blue showing edge and carry wear with small handling marks. The receiver retains some light and fading case colors in the more protected areas with silvering from carry wear. Company markings address on right of receiver show wear. Stock and both forearms show lightly worn finish and checkering with scattered scratches and marks. Both bores generally have bright appearances with lightly worn rifling and spots of very light pitting. (01-28040/DS). ANTIQUE. $6,000-8,000.
