BUNTLINE SPECIAL REVOLVER WITH MATCHING FACTORY BOX. Cal. 45 LC. S# SA54436. Bbl. 12". Third Generation Single Action Army Buntline Special revolver mfg. by Colt. Left side of the bbl. is marked "COLT BUNTLINE SPECIAL .45", with Colt's single line address marked across the top. Left side of the frame is marked with Colt's 2-line patent information, followed by the Rampant Colt logo. Frame and loading gate exhibit a case colored finish, with remaining metal components exhibiting a blue finish overall. Sides of hammer are polished in-the-white. Frame is mounted with 2-piece Colt checkered black synthetic grips. Standard SAA pattern blade front sight with frame notched rear sight. All serialized parts are matching and include the frame, cyl., as well as the trigger guard and rear grip strap (marked beneath left grip panel). Grips are matching via a hand inscribed "54436" on the interior of the panels. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: matching factory box, containing factory paperwork. CONDITION: near new, with metal components retaining virtually all of their original factory finishes overall. Frame and loading gate retain vibrant case colors, with some striations from prior cleaning present on the loading gate. Cyl. exhibits a few superficial marks, but no dragline. Mirror bore, retaining well defined rifling throughout. Proper manual mechanics (with cyl. not inserted to preserve condition). Grips are excellent overall.
