ARMY REVOLVER. Cal. 38-40. S# S06022A. Bbl. 4 3/4". Third Generation Single Action Army revolver mfg. by Colt in 1993. Left side of the bbl. is marked "COLT SINGLE ACTION ARMY 38-40", with Colt's single line address marked across the top. Left side of the frame is marked with Colt's 2-line patent information, followed by the Rampant Colt logo. Metal components exhibit a bright nickel plated finish overall. Frame is mounted with 2-piece Colt silver medallion plain wood grips. Standard SAA pattern blade front sight and frame notched rear sight. Frame and rear grip strap are matching via the full S#. Cyl. is matching via "6022". Trigger guard and loading gate are matching via "022". Grips are matching via "6022" which is handwritten in red marker on the interior of the panels. CONDITION: metal components retain virtually all of their original factory nickel plated finish, showing some scattered light scratches and superficial handling marks. Cyl. bears a mild dragline. Mirror bore, retaining well defined rifling throughout. Proper manual mechanics with tight lock up. Grips show a few scattered handling marks and minor impressions, but otherwise remain very good overall. (25-5412/MLW). MODERN. $1,500-2,250.
