ARMY REVOLVER. Cal. 45 LC. S# 57093SA. Bbl. 5 1/2". Second Generation Single Action Army revolver mfg. by Colt in 1970. Left side of the bbl. is marked "COLT SINGLE ACTION ARMY .45", with Colt's single line address marked across the top. Left side of the frame is marked with Colt's 2-line patent information, followed by the Rampant Colt logo. Metal components exhibit a nickel plated finish overall. Frame is mounted with 2-piece checkered stag grips with a replacement brass grip screw. Standard SAA pattern blade front sight and frame notched rear sight. All serialized parts are matching and include the frame, cyl., trigger guard, and rear grip strap. Matching assembly # "253" is present on the frame and loading gate. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: generic black plastic hard case containing a pair of aftermarket plain wood grips. CONDITION: metal components retain virtually all of their original nickel plated finish, showing scattered scratches and light superficial handling marks overall. Mirror bore, exhibiting a few small spots of light pitting, while retaining well defined rifling throughout. Proper manual mechanics with tight lock up.
