REVOLVER. Cal. 38 Colt. S# 34388. Bbl. 4 1/2", without ejector. Semi-circular blade front sight. Left side of bbl. has acid etched panel caliber marking. 6-shot fluted cyl. Left side of frame has standard stamped patent markings. It has nearly fully coverage vine type foliate hand engraving with checkered bordered pattern on bbl. sides. Nickel finish with fire blued trigger, and fire blued hammer with polished sides. 2-piece pearl birds head grips. Matching S#s are found on the frame, trigger guard, backstrap, cyl., and cyl. base pin. Mfg. in 1882. CONDITION: over 70% nickel finish showing scattered spots of finish loss and corrosion. Hammer and trigger retain 70% fire blue. Grips show small handling marks.
