Lot 3371 NATIONAL ARMS CO. NO. 2 IRON FRAME DERRINGER

PISTOL. Cal. 41 RF. S# 11672. Bbl. 2 1/2". No. 2 derringer pistol mfg. by National Arms Company. Flat top of the bbl. is marked with National Arms mfg. information. Frame is stamped "G72" beneath the left grip panel. Sides of the iron frame feature light foliate scrollwork, which extends to the rear grip strap (behind the hammer slot), with a small foliate motif present over the top of the breech section. Frame is mounted with 2-piece later aftermarket checkered wood grips. German silver half-moon blade front sight with hammer notched rear sight. CONDITION: metal components have been cleaned, exhibiting a gray patina overall, with scattered handling marks, as well as spots/patches of light to mild pitting present overall. Bore exhibits consistent moderate pitting, while retaining fair rifling throughout. Proper manual mechanics. Grips are very good overall. (01-28601/MLW).
