Sides of frame and top of bbl. decorated with burst of floral scroll. Backstrap has double lined intertwined engraving. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: Copy of "COLT- SMITH & WESSON. A CLASH OF ARMS. Featuring Colt's Battle Born Open Top 22." by Robert Swartz. CONDITION: fine overall. Bbl. & cyl. retain 75% original gold plated finish with scattered light peppery oxidation. Frame retains scattered areas of original gold plating. Grips are very good having a pleasing mellow patina with age; cracks showing in each panel but remain solid.
