Left side of frame has 3 line patent dates. Full nickel finish. 1 Piece smooth walnut grip has matching number in backstrap channel. Matching numbers on frame, butt & trigger guard frame. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: Colt factory letter stating the following: Serial Number: 87534 / Caliber: .45/c / Barrel Length: Not Listed / Finish: Nickel / Type of Stocks: Not Listed / Shipped To: Hartley & Graham / Address: New York, NY . Date of Shipment: February 10, 1883 / Number of Same Type Guns in Shipment: 50". CONDITION: metal parts retain 20% original nickel finish; balance has flaked away. Frame & cyl. show evidence of cleaning with sharp edges have been lightly rounded. Grip has been lightly sanded & refinish with scattered spots of varnish remaining. Left grip shows a couple old moderate scratches. Bore retains strong rifling with frosting in grooves.
