Blue finish. 2-piece checkered walnut milk pale handle forearm and straight grip walnut stock with steel carbine buttplate. Mfg. in 1890. 5 lbs. 7.8 oz. CONDITION: bbl. and mag. tube retain 90% lightly faded blue showing small spots and handling marks. Receiver retains fading blue in protected areas with balance having acquired a mottled brown patina. Stock and forearm have original wood finish showing scratches and marks. Forearm retains good checkering showing a few flattened diamonds. Sound mechanics. Very bright bore with strong rifling showing a patch of light pitting towards the muzzle.
