DELUXE BARRELED ACTION. Cal. 32 WCF. S# 619414. Bbl. 22". Model 1892 deluxe bbl.'d action mfg. by Winchester in 1911. The left quarter flat of the half-octagonal replacement bbl. exhibits Winchesters mfg. and patent information markings, with the cal. designation marked towards the breech. Underside of bbl. is marked with an encircled "VP" proof and the cal. designation. Left side of the upper receiver tang is marked "10056 X". The receiver features professionally executed scrollwork on a punch dot background with a gold inlaid scene of a hunter and 2 deer on the left, with matching scrollwork present on the right, and a scene of a gold inlaid bear. Underside of receiver features a small scene of a gold inlaid moose within an oval, with scrollwork present on the top and bottom. Receiver exhibits a reapplied blue finish overall. Lever link and internals are absent. CONDITION: receiver retains the majority of its reapplied blue finish, exhibiting some spots of wear, scattered spots of light to mild surface oxidation, as well as a few cleaned spots of mild pitting overall. Bbl. retains the vast majority of its blue finish, exhibiting some scattered spots/areas of oxidation. Mirror bore, exhibiting a few spots of what appears to be mild pitting, while retaining well defined rifling throughout. (25-1675/MLW). MODERN. $600-900.
