^Lot 3262 BOX OF WINCHESTER 44 FLAT CARTRIDGES - 44 HENRY

LONG. Copper cased cartridges of the Long Henry variety with cases of .901" (23mm) having lead, flat topped bullets. All with "H" headstamps; 30 unfired and 20 having numerous light firing pin strike marks. Live ammo has bullets with black appearance along with dried lube coating. Ammo with strike marks has grey toned bullets having clearly defined cannelure just forward of the case mouth. Original 2 piece box has green top label plus orange toned end labels. Box is in nice condition with separation where ends meet top. Bottom of box is in similar condition with breaks at ends like with top. Very bottom of box has "FOG/1.42" in black heavy pencil; "FOG" is likely a code for its cost with 1.42 the selling price. Perfect display accessory for a vintage Henry.
