Cal. 348 WCF. S# 10462. Bbl. 24" tapered rnd. Early long tang. Ramp mounted hooded bead front sight, filler in rear dovetail, with bolt peep sight. Half length mag. Blue finish. Forearm and hard rubber capped pistol grip walnut stock feature hand checkering, Super Grade sling swivels, and checkered steel buttplate. Mfg. in 1937. CONDITION: 90% original blue showing some carry wear with spotted flaking on the receiver bottom. Wood has moderately worn finish and checkering with oil darkening behind the action and shows scattered scratches and marks. Sound mechanics. Very good bright bore. (25-1748/DS). CURIO. $3,000-4,000.
